Creating Freedom To Do What You Love

start today.jpg

Why do we blame others for our unhappiness?

Do you really believe that other people are responsible for how you feel?

We give others too much credit and control over our emotions.

People may do things we don’t like, but we can’t control what they do.

We can only control how we react.

Learning to love your life brings you such a great sense of fulfillment once you start letting go of all

your past experiences, expectations, and preconceived notions of what you think happiness means.

Take the time out to find out what’s important to you and why?

Be honest with yourself and dig deep beneath the surface to allow your inner spirit to be set free.

Let go of the “old you” to experience the “new improved” you.

Finding your personal peace is like finding a pot of gold.

When your days become so preoccupied with things to do, it becomes harder and harder to

appreciate and enjoy life.

Inner peace can only be found when you reject your ego.

The ego loves to find everything wrong with others and themselves.

It’s self-destructive and looks at all the negatives in every situation.

It holds grudges and is not willing to compromise on any level.

The ego craves recognition and acknowledgement.

It’s self-seeking and needs to feel superior over others and seeks revenge.

It’s fearful.

It’s anxious and always worrying about things.

It’s resentful towards others and carries feelings of hopelessness and despair.

In a nutshell your ego can be harmful to your health.

Imagine how wonderful life would be if you were able to maintain your personal peace and not

become unraveled by situations or circumstances.

There is a special prayer that has always given me clear perspective in challenging times and that is

the serenity prayer.

“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I

can and the wisdom to know the difference.”

Life is like a roller coaster it will always have unexpected ups and downs, twists and turns, so enjoy

the ride.

Whether you want to believe it or not, you already have everything you need to create freedom to do

the things you love, just try to find pleasure in all of your experiences and focus on the present

moment.

Change is inevitable, so don’t run away from it. It’s a natural part of life, and the reality is that

nothing lasts forever.

Heraclitus, an ancient Greek philosopher, once said, “The only thing that is constant is change.”
